    Abstract:

    Objective To study a new treatment for bacillary dysentery of infant in rhesus monkeys.Methods\ From October 2002 to October 2004,we treated the part diseased infants by keeping clysis with a compound medicines of sulfamethoxazole,cefoperazone and dexamethasone,at the same time,we sterilized cages and surrounding by tolyl hydroxide soap and Puritabs Maxi in order to prevent transmission of the disease.Results\ It showed that the most evident effective rate was 67.9%(38/58);the evident effective rate was 23.2%(13/58);the rate of no effect was 8.92%(5/58);the mortality was 5.4%(3/58).Conclusion\ we concluded that this treatment can enhance the healing rate for the Bacillary dysentery of infant and reduce side effect of medicines,as compare with the former therapeutic methods.
