    Abstract:

Objective To explore the change of the anti-oxidation in plasma in vascular calcification rats. Methods The male Sprauge Dawley rats were randomly divided into 2 groups, one of the group were induced vascular calcification.Von Kossa stanning in aorta were observed and the levels of the alkaline phosphatase and calcium content in aorta were detected,SOD,MDA levels and total anti-oxidation ability in plasma were also detected after six weeks. Results Many black granules among the smooth muscle cells and its matrix in calcified aorta by Von Kossa stanning in VDN group was observed,102.7%,259% increase ALP and calcium content were observed in VDN group than that in control group(P<0.01).584.1% increase MDA,26.2% and 67.4% decrease SOD and total anti-oxidation ability were observed in VDN group than that in control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Anti-oxidation ability in plasma was decreased in vascular calcification rats.
