Objective To observe the effects of jiangtangtongmai granule on alloxan-induced diabetes in rabbits.Methods Blood glucose,insulin,glucagons,superoxide dismutase(SOD) and malondialdedyeds(MDA) were measured through the Alloxan-induced diabetic model of rabbits.Results Jiangtangtongmai granule could significantly reduce blood glucose of alloxan-induced diabetes of rabbits,increase insulin level,reduce glucagon contents,enhance SOD activity and reduce MDA contents.Conclusions Jiangtangtongmai granule can obviously improve the alloxan-induced diabetes of rabbits.
