    Abstract:

Objective To measure and analyse the chief organ weight and coefficients of different species of experimental rabbits.Methods\ In 40 GPB rabbits,CW rabbits and experimental closed colony NZW rabbits bred by Nanjing General Hospital were measured the chief organ weight and coefficient of liver, heart, spleen, lung, pancrease, kidney, adrenal, testis, ovary, womb and oviduct with electronic scales.Result\ No significant differences were observed in all indications between male and female ( P >0.05) except the lung weight of GPB and the lung coefficient of NZW( P <0.05).Among the species, coefficients of liver, spleen, lung, pancrease, adrenal showed significant differences( P <0.05), and the others P >05.Between the GPB and CW,all organ coefficients were with no significant differences( P >0.05).Conclusion\ The chief organ weight and coefficients of experimental rabbits have some correlativity with species characteristics.
