Objective To establish the data bank of biological parameters of Hubei closed colony Japanese white rabbits for providing biomedical toxicology experiments with relative data of laboratory animal.Methods The rabbit body weight and organ weight were measured. The some of haematological parameters such as RBC, HGB ,MCV, MCH, MCHC, HCT, PLT, MPV, WBC, W-SCR W-LCR were examined. The biochemical parameters of AST,ALT,ALP,BUN,TP,ALB,GLU,T-BIL,Grea,T-CHO were detected. Those were compared with the parameters of common experimental rabbits. Results and Conclusion All the above mentioned parameters were obtained. The biological characters were different among the different species of rabbits, even in same species, and different biological characters due to different regions, environments, breed statuses and nutrition.
