    Abstract:

Objective To determine genetic diversity of Bama miniature pigs. Methods 10 AFLP primers corresponding adapter were used to amplify genomic DNAs of Bama miniature pigs. The amplified fragments were analysed by the RAPD Distance Package version 1.04. Results 104 AFLP markers were obtained and the markers of individual primer were between 3-20, with the similary index of 0.903(0.791-0.982). The proportion of polymorphic loci was 29.8%. Total number of alleles was 136, average number of alleles 1.31. The number of genotype was 119, average number of genotype 1.14. Conclusion Useful parameters were provided for monitoring genetic stability of Bama miniature pigs.
