    代谢综合征(metabolic syndrome,MS)聚集了多种代谢紊乱状态,直接增加肥胖、2 型糖尿病和心血管疾病的风险。MS 的发病率在全球范围内不断上升,其死亡率和经济负担也逐年增加。miRNAs 通过转录调控基因表达水平在各种生物过程中发挥关键作用,其水平的改变与葡萄糖及脂质代谢紊乱密切相关。因此,本文选择一些MS 相关的miRNAs,对miRNAs 介导调控MS 各组分的作用方面及可能的机制进行综述,以期帮助理解MS 潜在发病机制,挖掘miRNAs 作为MS 生物标志物的潜力,并为治疗MS 提供新的思路。

    Abstract:

    Metabolic syndrome (MS) is a group of metabolic disorders that directly increases the risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular disease. The incidence of MS is rising worldwide, the mortality and economic burden of which are increasing each year. miRNAs play a crucial role in various biological processes by regulating gene expression through transcriptional mechanisms, and alterations of gene expression are associated with glucose and lipid metabolic disorders. Therefore, we selected certain MS-related miRNAs and summarized the roles and possible mechanisms of miRNAs in the regulation of MS components to facilitate understanding the mechanism underlying the MS development, explored the potential of miRNAs as MS biomarkers, and provide new ideas for MS treatment.
