Artificial intelligence (AI) has also been widely applied in laboratory animal science teaching.This paper analyzes the application status of AI-based virtual simulation technology in the teaching of laboratory animal science at home and abroad, the application status of AI in the interaction of laboratory animal science teaching, the application status of AI in the teaching of laboratory animal models, the advantages and disadvantages of AI in the teaching of laboratory animal science, and lists the commonly used AI tools. It can be expected that AI technology will play an important role in the future teaching of laboratory animal science.
